Secuestro del Vuelo 601 (The Hijacking of Flight 601) is a Netflix Original series which follows the longest plane hijacking in Latin American history, where two armed individuals demand a hefty ransom from the national government in order to release the hostages. A breathtaking political thriller based on actual events that took place in 1973.

Created, written, and directed by C.S. Prince and Pablo González, showrunners of the blockbuster “El robo del siglo” (The Great Heist), and with a star-studded cast headlined by Enrique Carriazo, Christian Tappan and Mónica Lopera the show has all the ingredients to become a global hit.

We were invited by the great team at Netflix to look after the series’ branding and marketing assets from concept development through to direction and execution.

Not only did we work on the marketing side of things but we also collaborated with the production company -Miracol Media- creating the series opener, titles and credits. Premieres April 10th, 2024.

Key art.

Secuestro del Vuelo 601 not only depicts a story from the 70s, the show also pays tribute to the filmmaking of the time, from camera lenses and microphones to styling. Our key art follows the same approach, paying homage to the rich graphic language of the 70s: minimal with a vibrant palette and a bold layout with a gritty, textured finish.

We created the character posters for this action-packed thriller in the same 70s style.

Logo resolve & show opener.

We were responsible for the creation of the series' opener. Channeling our inner 70s fanboys, the resolve is presented with a never-gets-old freeze frame and a minimal transition to the episode's title.
