Biennale di Venezia - Iconographic Posters 2016
During 2015 La Biennale di Venezia awarded the four most outstanding projects of the Biennale College Cinema workshop with a complete feature film production. They also sponsored the creation of a full set of marketing and promotional resources for their 2016 release.
The Film Agency managed their marketing strategy, and invited us to look after the creation of a set of supporting posters for the four films – Hotel Salvation, La Soledad, One Sister and Orecchie – from concept development through to direction and execution.
This series of iconographic posters is meant to work as supporting marketing material and was conceived as a set of iconographic posters that present relevant signifiers of each one of the films. This year sees means of transportation present in each film as the common denominator which, alongside the illustration treatment, ties them all together.
