Before standing behind a camera, David learnt the ropes of being a director inside a drawing room. As an animation artist and director he has signed commercials, TV idents and digital content mastering all the techniques available: from classic 2D, cel animation to 3D integration with live footage.

This experience has seamlessly translated to live-action films, directing campaigns for Paramount and NBC Universal in Spain, and Honda in the Asian market.

His first animated short film, "we_sounds", was released in 2019 and has garnered three international awards and more than thirty official selections. His second animated short film, "Wonderful Ideas", was released in 2021 and is currently playing in festivals around the world.
